Blurry by Carina Adams

So, I really enjoyed this book, but I will warn that you should be pretty open minded for this read.

"A student and her teacher. A coach and his athlete. An unexpected friendship. Forbidden feelings between an unlikely pair.

Neither is playing a game they can win."

This was an all-consuming read. I stayed up until 3 am reading, because I just had to know what was going to happen! The story of Lia and Craig is forbiddingly intoxicating! You can't help, but feel for these characters and the curves life has thrown at them. I have to admit, when I first started reading I was a little hesitant. I mean, I just wasn't sure how this could story could end without leaving me emotionally devastated and cursing Carina and the world. But from the first chapter I was glued. Pulled in from Lia's life, the hot teacher/coach, and the emotional chemistry that you could feel immediately.
This was not your typical read and I LOVED that about it! I also love how Adams took you into a forbidden territory and brought you out with a different set of eyes. I mean I am not a prude at all, but I am a mother and I could easily see the issues and worry from this romance. However, I think anyone could come out with a slightly different view at the least. Love doesn't discriminate at the least.
Overall, this was a great read. It was my first from Carina Adams, but I hope to read more and possibly see more of these characters in the future.
