Text 2 Lovers by K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield

This was my first book written by J.D. Hollyfield, but I am no stranger to K Webster's stories. Going into Text 2 Lovers, I wasn't really sure what to expect. I'm use to Webster's darker novels and just from this cover, I knew this would be a bit different. However, I was not disappointed in the least little bit. Even with it being different from what I've read from Webster, I could see her parts in it.
I'm sure it's not easy to step out of your normal genre of writing, but I'm sure it's also not easy to write a novel with another person. Hollyfield and Webster make it look easy! This story flowed smoothly and was a nice light story to read. I was pretty addicted from the beginning. I meant to read a chapter or two and found myself 46% throughat 2 am, barely keeping my eyes open.
Dani and Ram were two one-of-a-kind characters. They had both had their fair share of crap in life and it didn't seem like it was ever going to end. What I loved about their story was how they came together. We've read the stories about finding someone who fixes our brokenness, but to me Ram and Dani just made each other stronger in a way that kept them from breaking. Perhaps, I'm wrong. The story does have some twists and turns that I didn't see, so who knows. Only way to find out is to read it for yourself and see!
