Big Girls Do It Running by Jasinda Wilder

    What can I say about this book? When you first look at this book you think, 'oh, it's just another diet/self help BS book!" Let me tell you, it's not! It's so much more than that. In my opinion, it's more of a inspirational book. I HIGHLY recommend this book to EVERYONE! Even if you aren't looking to lose weight this is a super interesting and intriguing book to read.

     My first thoughts upon reading this book were, "Jasinda stole my story! She's writing about my childhood and how I felt!" No lie. I've been a "fat girl" all my life and Jasinda couldn't have reached into my brain and pulled out more true feelings and experiences. I'm guessing that I'm not the only one who can relate to it either. Which makes it even more important for people to read this story. It's real and true, and honest, and REAL! That is the most alluring part of this book. Jascinda isn't just someone who needed to lose 20-30 pounds and followed a fad diet with some success. She's someone who had some intense medical issues and needed help with her way of life, so she took action. She took action into a way that was beneficial and fit her families need. With that she encourages everyone else, not because she wants to make a quick buck, but because she wants to help others. She doesn't want you to have health issues and struggle. She knows what that's like and it sucks.

     I loved everything about this book. I have already started my own research and ways to follow the Wilder Way. I look forward to seeing how I can take some of the helpful tools Jascinda has found and apply them to my own life!
