Even the dark and twisted stories deserve a little light sometimes. That is the simplest way to describe, Four Crows by Lily White. This was a story full of unfair life happenings and the tale of two people's desperate attempt to be happy, no matter the price. If you love dark and unpredictable stories, this is right up your alley. White threw in some curve balls that you just could not have seen coming. The story kept you guessing and on your toes.
I was glued from the very beginning. I know, I know people say that all the time, but it was never truer than for this book. The story opens up with a letter and that grabs you. Who is it to? Why is it being written? What is the writer talking about? What did they do to deserve this? The questions go on and on as you turn the pages to find out. You will not be disappointed in the twists.
The cover is what initially drew me to this story and I can tell you now that it lives up to the alluring beauty of the cover. The story simply captures you before you even pick it up.
*I will warn you that there are some grotesque parts to this story and it may not be for the faint of heart. However, if you love dark you will love this!
