So, the first time I had ever heard of K Larsen was right before she released The Tutor. Loving all dark, wicked, taboo, and push your limit reads I had to give her a shot. That book was so addicting and crazy that I couldn't wait to see what was going to come next.
Now, The Brother has release and it is its own version of taboo and crazy. This story is more on healing and two people who are extremely broken trying to put the pieces back together with each other. The tricky part is the brokeness that they have encountered is unlike anything else and has left them with the most jagged pieces a puzzle could ever have.
I am not going to lie, this book kept me hooked because I couldn't believe it and didn't see how she could pull it off. It was intriguing and I sucked in the words. It took me awhile to figure out what I wanted in the end to happen, as the reader. I loved that because I don't like it to be so simple and easy.
This is a great finish to a dark and depraved story!
