Books are the best. I have been an avid reader since I learned how to read The Foot Book by Dr. Seuss when I was like, four or five years old. Books are the best way to escape from life for a little bit and to explore the world and fantasy worlds without leaving the comfort of home. That is my favorite thing about reading.
What makes it even better is when the author makes the story even more real and gives us the connection of real life struggles and strength to overcome them through the characters. That is exactly what On My Way to You did.
This book was intriguing from the beginning and I couldn't put it down. Then it had me conflicted because it kept throwing things out that I didn't think would be surmountable. Which made it all the more intriguing.
And then it was all tied together with the most beautiful and perfect bow imaginable. I'm not sure how Kandi Steiner can top this one, but I hope she gives it a go and blows us away again!
